I am finally back after 3 weeks overseas. 2 weeks in europe and 1 week in malaysia. no more overseas trip until next year in june or december? It is not going to be as far as this time though. maybe 5 years later? My dad said that next year we maybe going to china to find our de jiu roots. haha. The past 2 months were fast! I just ended my prelim 2...My Physics was...:(

For now, I will be resting for a while before I start working towards my goal this year again...
I seriously wonder how JC life will be like. I can't wait but it should be super stressful...

I feel so sad that my neighbour's dog is leaving me...this morning was my last time seeing him ever again! I think that whenever I see other dogs, I will automatically call it 'fluffy' This is the cuttest and prettiest picture we got from the owner. He was running about at my house and it was so difficult to take picture with it. FAREWELL..:(
I am so looking forward to O levels. Hope time passes faster! I am planning to learn a new language after O's Haha can you guess what it is? Something that is linked to my upcoming overseas trip this year. I am so scared they would be like saying, 'oh, come on don't say it if you are not sure, you are embarrassing our language.'

I am so looking forward to my overseas trip! Once in a lifetime journey...

Hello.

It had been a long while.
Ya, we got a silver.

Today, the newspaper front page said that silver is the new gold.
It seems so fated for it to be published just at the right time.
It brightens up my day.
God has his own purpose.
I just want to thank him for everything.
Through countless tiring band practices to the last moment in SYF, till now and I believe it will always be.
This journey has strengthened me.
Can't imagine that I would one day be immune to their scoldings.
Now, my journey is now reaching to an end.

Though we got a silver, it brought us closer to one another.
It is really the process that counts.

I can still remember each and every moment clearly.

I cant believe I didnt shed a single tear after knowing the results, with almost everyone else crying around me. I felt a sense of injustice but my eyes were not even teary. I was just too speechless. Miss sia was hugging the band leaders as they cried.We sang 'CSB cheer' but it was a cheer of sorrow. I dont know whether I was just too shocked to realise what was going on or just relieved that everything was over. I believed that many thought that I would cry, being the one always crying and needing comfort during the process but I did not. Instead, I was the one hugging and comforting them this time after the results.

Trumpeters tried to improve the atmosphere by cheering and singing persis after that, starting from outside the auditorium, outside the SCH, on our way back in the lost bus and finally back to school. It was 8pm by then.

It sounds rather emotional right but that was actually what really happened.

We truly deserved a GWH but events like this are just so unpredictable and subjective.

Now, we are just hoping that our juniors are able to break the silver chain 2 years later. It is a blessing in disguise. Silver is still my favourite colour though:D

It is already the end of the month...

What I should say?
More tests and I have finally gotten over any TV entertainment/drama shows.
I have restrained myself from watching this year and it have been very successful just that my life has gotten more 'sian' without it.
More band practices..

Anyway, Chinese New Year is here!
I am really looking forward to it this year. 2 days of holidays! plus 1 half day school.
Should I go back to primary school???

Guess what? I got my contact lenses.
Some may be wondering why that sudden 'vanity' but I just want to say that my mum just wanted to claim the company's free expenses given to each employee.
That's why i also made new specs.

I was so afraid to put on the lenses. I took about 20 mins to just put in one lens.
First, lift up eyelids, press down the bottom lids, use index finger aim, touch the eyeball, look downwards, relax upper lid, blink, relax lower lids. My eyes kept blinking.
I tried it so many times of stretching my eyelids that it got teary and swollen when I finally got the contacts on. It was terrible. When it got in, I rejoiced after all that effort of putting it in.
I did it for the other eye too but it was slightly faster.
When both was in, I realized that I got all teary but it was clear! I had no feeling that the lenses were on at all.

After explaining all the instructions and checking, it was time to take out. I felt sad as all that effort of putting it in would be gone. It was also as difficult as you have to stretch eyelids and pinch out the contacts.

I thought it was all done when I finally got out the lenses. Then, the optimist asked me to practice for 1 time putting in and out again. All by myself with no assistance. I was like 'siao' my eyes all swollen le. luckily, it was faster as I got a bit used to touching my eyeballs which was gross.

The worst part of the process was that it was CNY season and so many people were walking past the optical shop. It was embarrassing as many were staring as I pried open my eyes.haiz...
the optimist asked if I wanted to wear the lenses then go home after that, I immediately said no as I wanted my eyes to relax.

This whole process took 1 HR
Now, the contact lenses are at home now. I seriously dont know when then i will have the courage to experience the putting in of the contacts again. Thinking about it, it was kind of scary.
There are also quite a lot of sight effects and stories of wearing the lenses too, I was warned.
Anyways, I wont be wearing it so frequently.

I am absolutely looking forward to CNY, hong bao and all that visitations. My father bought like 10 boxes of CNY goodies and my mum said that he was overly enthu as who is going to eat all that boxes!

I just went for the SYF rehearsal yesterday. It was so tiring and scary!

Just that first week of school and I am bugged with packed events for the next few weeks, no months.

Almost everything clashes. TD, BAND, TUITION
They are the ones that take up the most time of my whole secondary life other than school.

I got the taste of what busyness feels like especially this year.

Next week, I have Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat band practices
Next week, I have TD presentation for NUS project on Sat
Next week, I have Fri and Sat tuition.

Phew... it is still 1st Jan 2011. I thought it earlier that i wanted to at least post something on this first day of the year.

I was actually hoping that the clock will stop at 11.59.59 so that I will never ever go to the start of the mugging year again.
It reminds me of PSLE but this is even worse.

Like many others, I stayed up late for that 'crucial' moment 12am. I wonder why I was feeling so excited each time the new year arrives. Scared? Worried? Unpredictable?
Truthfully, I haven't been studying throughout the holidays. I have been hooked to TV shows. It was only the last month that I went for an expensive physics tuition to brush up my terrible C grade results...
At least, I felt more confident with this teacher and saw some light to my physics.

Here are some of the events for the last few days of the year

BAND 30 december

Just that 3 hrs it was so unpredictable. chloe was so happy that she was promoted to 1st, I had mixed feelings that I wasnt demoted.

Last thursday, she tested one by one. I screwed it half- way. I really thought I was going to 2nd trumpet as triple S pointed to my direction and said,' move to 2nd' , I was so happy then and smiled to myself thinking,'oh finally!!' ( coz i cant play high A note very well)
Then, I realized that she was pointing to my junior and she happily moved nearer to the 2nd trumpet. My mind crumbled. Almost everyone was expecting me to move and I felt guilty as I played worse than my junior.

Just why I cant get DEMOTED?? triple S PRACTICALLY KNOWS THAT I CANT PLAY WELL. giving me another chance. I feel guilty of depriving my junior the chance.
Maybe God doesnt want me to give up on 1st.

After that, 5 of my section members and I went to NEX and we ate the Japanese steamboat,'SHABUSHI' It was only $12 and we had a free flow of ingredients, drinks, sushi rolls and ice-creams. It was the best. We ate like 8 plates of beef plus prawns, chicken, clams...It was the first time having a section steamboat.
We went up to the skypark there and was so tempted to get wet at the water play area but we ended up going to the arcade.

Fun day for all.

31st december (countdown)

My family and I went to NEX again then planned to go to church for watchnight service. However, when we reached there, my father could not find any parking lot and we had no choice but to go for a joy tour around marina bay at night.
Although there was a massive jam there but we enjoyed the lights and scenic view of the marina sands plus the floating platform.
As we did not go to church for the 2009 reflections,my father wanted us to name 3 good things and 3 unhappy things for 2010 while in the car.
It was so crowded at night and with no parking space there too.
Unfortunately, it was only 11.pm then and there was no fireworks.
We then went back home and when the clock stuck 12, we saw the 8 mins fireworks on TV.
WHat a huge waste! I shouted, 'we were right there just now!'
At 12am, I send a huge load of sms to my friends, there was a massive sms satellite jam as everyone was practically sending at the same time.

TODAY Guess what? I had both physics and chinese tuition on this special public holiday. The teachers doesnt want to give us a break. A studious start for the year...first time in my life.

My mum forced me to wake up early in the morning for a run at Hougang stadium.
Right and I grudgingly woke up and somehow ran 2.4km (6 rounds around the track)
Then went for physics tuition 12.30pm-2.30pm, then chinese tuition 4.30 to 6.30pm
At night, there was some New year celebration party at my aunt's house.

It is very long-winded but thanks for reading!

She is really becoming a busy maniac this holiday. I have never ever seen her staying at home and resting for the whole day ever since her holidays started.

I have been thinking hard recently... should I go sing at the christmas pageant in church?
A lot of people wanted us to take part (making it compulsary) as there are so few people joining and my friends sang until she had no voice for her own cedar choir.
What should I do, it might be too late to memorise the lyrics and what should prepare?

oh by the way my father passed me to stacks of past year exam papers for my christmas present.
I was lying on bed when suddenly, 2 stacks of papers came flying towards me as he threw them.
He was like, 'na, your christmas present!'
I stared at it and stared at it him blankly... 'what?????'

HELLO HELLO

My genting trip is cancelled.
Next week going jakarta!

Last wednesday, I went to MacRitchie Reservoir and bukit timah peak. It was tiring.

Today, i went to Sentosa Cove to cycle by the coast with my parents. I guessed no one i knew cycle there before as it was the area is permitted to residents only! They are super super rich. too much money to spend kind. My father got a few friends there and we explored the world of the rich. My father's good friend lend us his resident pass so that we could go in sentosa for free and ride anywhere at that rarely seen residential area. Not permitted to public. The design of the houses is like paradise or a resort, super modernized, high class, scenic and cool. All of the houses are just beside the sea. It is like all your dream houses are all right there for you to choose from.

If there is a chance I can show you the pictures. I was awed by the scenery and the rich, classy looking houses. I was so glad that I could be there to admire such a spectacular sight!

My neighbour's dog ran into my house! It was so cute that I took a pic of it.

It is called, 'fluffy'

Fluffy will always wait for me at my neighbour gate whenever I go to school in the morning and come back from school everyday! It will bark and run towards the door excitedly, protrude his head outside the gate and wait for me to stroke him. SO CUTE!!

I always call him,' FLUFFY BOY'

Nice to have a dog looking forward to meet you everyday outside the door! Ever since fluffy came, neighbours got closer and my days are happier! I feel sad whenever I don't see him at the gate. It is as though I really owned him!

I did henna for free and writing just this, 'ZEA" Many thought I was obsessed with the Kpop group but NOT. My name starts with it.

Nowadays lots of people in my school are going huha about shinee, until today they tried to force the songs into one of the NE projects. It sounded very bad overall and does not Link at all, in fact the source was noisy and too loud. They spoil the whole meaning of NE and music as well.

EXAMS ARE OVER! HAHAs

I went cycling just now. A torturous cycling experience but satisfaction was achieved with completion.

I cycled for 40 km, and conquered the east Park connector in Singapore!!

Cycled from East Coast, Bedok, Tampines, Pasir Ris, Changi, and back to East Coast again.
The worst was the last part as I was almost dying and wanting to give up as my thigh was aching terribly. It was actually meant to cycle from East Coast to Tampines but I continued with my ever, energetic father all the way to East Coast to get back his car.

Terrrible part.

Sun was terribly hot!!!!!!!! I had a serious tan on my arms and legs.
Muscles were acheing so terribly.
Struggling to tolerate the sun, ache and control the bike.

Best part,
Enjoy the breeze during the downslope.
Watching planes fly just right a few metres above us

Luckily, I did not fall during the trip. It was a super exhAUSTIVE EXPERIENCE. WOrst part that I got black.

Going to Universal studios is one of my wishes for this year. I cant believe I had a free ticket!

The day was memorable and fun although it was seriously near the exams. I was super excited and could not concentrate that day since we are going to universal studio! My wish that came through.

It was extremely crowded and we had to queue quite a long while to get in. I was glad that the day before, my sis came back from Universal Studio and told me that we could sit almost all the rides! I was extremely excited then and almost told the world about the happiest news. Unfortunately, Jiaqi and Kim could not make it. I am terribly sorry if I had offended you.

Anyways, back to my point, oh, Belinda, Zhi Xuan, Cheryl, Yu Lan and I went in together. We were amazed by the miniature streets of universal studios and it totally did not look like Singapore at all! it was cool, I whipped out my camera and snapped many shots. Firstly, we headed in to the mummies of the revenge. I was super looking forward to it as we wound through the dark queuing lines inside . I thought it would be scary as I had some phobia of hunted houses but it turned out fun. It was an indoor roller coaster and I loved it.

There were flips, thrills, turns, backwards and the excitement really overwhelmed me! but still could not beat the Japan white cyclone one. I am seriously not scared of all other rides except for that one! Belinda went on the mummy ride last time and in the middle she pointed left. I jumped as suddenly, 3 skeletons popped up right in front of me. I screamed. HAHAs Right after the ride, i felt a bit giddy, I hope YL is feeling better now.

Next, we went to eat pizza, and mind you, the pizza was super huge and filled with so much cheese. 4 of us shared one total $32. We ate to our hearts desire. Oh, we wore school uniform throughout the universal studios as we had no time to change. Easily, recognizable and same time, embarrassing. Met quite a lot of cedarians.

Time really flies. We went to watch the water show after that but it was kind of boring to me as I had a hard time wondering what's happening all the time.

We went to watch the shrek 4D, just as cute as I expected. Got caught with the donkey's sneeze.
we also went on an enchanted flight which was a mini roller coaster and also the accelerator.The one that spins uncontrollably.

It was already 10.30+ and had to leave since there was school tomorrow. I kind of regretted not spending my full time there. My rapid adventure fall and my canopy flight. Hope to see you again, maybe I shall go there once the madagascar and my BATTLESTAR opens. Really missed it!

Day is super down today, AGAIN

I sometimes simply dont know what attitude should I have when I go there. It is making me confused, worried and even more stressed.

Right, I broke down in front of her, ask her why this ,what should I do and that.

I was sick until tuesday, didnt even start any hw, sleeping the whole day

Went to Pulau Ubin on Friday to cycle!

My whole family woke up at 7am and took a boat there. We rented bicycles and cycled about 10km around half of the island. We went to chek jawa. It was tiring as we had to tackle some steep rocky slopes and the track in which we cycled on were mainly rocky or filled with dead twigs. I regretted taking the smaller bike as I need to put in a lot of energy to go up the steep slopes. At Chek Jawa, I saw so many mangroves and it totally reminded me of Geography. We also went to the boardwalk and had a scenic view at the beach coastline. Saw many crabs. Strangely, they had only l large claw and they were so cute entering muddy holes. We climbed the 6 storey tall observation tower and took in the forested atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of life we had each day. I am so glad that the government decided to preserve this natural forested beauty in Singapore.

I love going pulau Ubin, it reminds me of childhood days when both of our families went to the resort there and did canoeing, cycling, enjoying the beach...

There goes my holidays. i completed the most hw on saturday.

I was perfectly fine, no symptoms on Tuesday at all, then on wed night, something struck me and I began to have serious flu, morning terrible sore throat and the next day, phlegm and cough.

WHAT IS THIS????

I had a memorable day on Tuesday. It was the teacher's day celebrations.

At first I was contemplating whether to go back a not since my school ended quite late and I had my lunch at home. Then, I decided to leave with Jolene's present at hand.

I was about to reach the HGP school gate and I saw a group of familiar faces coming right out. I was suprised to see 3 huge guys in front of me. followed by shorter ones and lastly the girls at the back. I jumped up and said hello to them, they were shocked also and I followed them back to hougang point.

While walking, I met up my ex-classmate in Dunman high who plays the trumpet too. He told me of his trumpet story and I told him about mine too. had a short talk since we had the same musical background.

They ate Macdonalds and seeing them eating Macs reminds me of the video shown on SS geo lecture. Quite terrifying. As usual, girls one table, guys one table...

We were so bored with nothing to do, YK requested playing Monopoly at Regentville to everyone but then we walked to a random void deck and decided to play poison ball. It was extremely awkward as the void deck was near the road. We even sat down in a circle and played truth or dare. Of course, many will play truth. I was so unlucky to get a strange question: What is your dream guy?? what 3 qualities? LOLOL i started crapping and was so embarrassed in front of everyone.

Then, we played blind mice at the playground. It totally failed as the guys kept opening their eyes and everyone eventually stepped down and gave up on the game.

Then, eventually we went to regentville, my condo clubhouse downstairs and went to the billard room fortunately as one neighbour offered it for us. 14 of us went inside. 6 guys and 8 girls

As usual, 4 of us formed a group and started to play bridge. 2 of them left off to play billard, while the rest played murderer. A perfect place to play and meet up. Hahas. Eventually, we also played murderer and later went to play billard and we kind of cheated and won!

At 6pm, it was time to leave and had nothing much to do so some guys and the rest of the girls left, leaving with the Jolene, I , YZ and AW again. Confused, they wanted to go to my house but my sis was studying and I was too ashamed of my messy house. We eventually went to play table tennis and badminton. i lost terribly in table tennis against YZ but it was kind of fun. jolene was so pro, almost won him. AW and YZ played until 7.30pm then we all left.

What a day!!

Yesterday, I got sick totally and was dozing away off space and could not study at all. Met up with Jo in the morning to study but it didn't much work out for me with the sickness.

Today, I had a sick morning for the start and almost could not go to school but had to go as it was not covered by MC. WOrst part was that i forgot to bring NE cards for Maths NE showcase and had to call my father to fetch me to and fro as I was so sick. I also could not concentrate during ss geo lesson and she was just talking and had to absorb and write down everything on the notebook.
Speaking about absorbing, luckily the lecture teacher took about 40 mins talking about some moral and character issues but had to suffocate a little in aircon room.

The weirdest decision today was go for jogging period when i was sick with flu and cough since I did not have MC cover up. I also practically skipped the whole NE showcase and band today so I went home, felt drowsy, and slept for 2 hrs. Finally, I woke up and finally felt much better.

I also feel excited about the table tennis module for PE I had chosen today. It would be so much fun!

I felt really really happy yesterday. =)

It's National Day today.

Yesterday after my church service, my family went back home then left again to visit 2 houses for birthday party and another for farewell.

The birthday party was actually my mum's best friend son 17th birthday which is on National Day. Anyways, since young, our both families always go overseas like to New Zealand, America together. We got to know one another in church. They have 2 sons. She said in a joking way like they have devils and ours are angels. Now, everyone has grown up and are super busy...so no time.

We visited their house like almost every year to celebrate with their relatives who are also in the same church. They had a dog! The dog was the most skinniest, hyper active, one I have ever seen in my life. It kept jumping on me and licking me with its 'snake-like tongue' , I felt so dirty all over. They also had a huge hamster, slightly smaller than size of a palm which is so curly and fluffy! However, it stinked of urine a bit.

After a short sharing from my dad, it was time to cut the cake. The cake was quite big and it was dark chocolate mousse cake. It was very appetizing. the dinner food was super good too. We had to leave early after have a magnum each and bade goodbye.

At 8pm, we had to leave early for my aunty house for my cousin's farewell to canada for his studies as a doctor. Second round of food and my stomach became bloated. I was extremely tired and had a hard time keeping my eyes open.

Came back at 11pm plus.

Today, is a more relaxing day like now. Have to complete my hw as soon as possible.

Perhaps that I dont really get to experience the bougainvilla team cheering since sports day was cancelled.

Hi

Today was a hectic afternoon. My mum and I didnt realise that there was NDP rehearsal and Nicoll Highway was blocked! We were heading to suntec city for a Garden festival exhibit!
Wow, we were lost as that moment when there were many yellow sign boards saying that Nicole Highway was blocked from 1pm to 11pm! It was rather tense as we do not know how to get there with so many roads blocked and not sure whether we could even enter any carpark there too.
Signboards showing ' To suntec city go ECP' and ' to suntec city go to Republic rd via ophir rd' but where on earth were the stretches of roads?

We parked at the International SOS building and realised that the parking fee was $2.20 1 hr and 90 cents subsequent half an hour! It was so expensive. Thus, we asked a police officer by the roadside and ended paying $2.20 as we left the carpark and went to raffles city carpark instead!

just then, I then realised that we were driving for about 1h 30 mins with the huge traffic jam as roads were blocked like nobody business just for the NDP.

We ended up walking to suntec city outside and saw many floats, military tanks and marching soldiers right before my eyes. We could randomly walked across roads like grandfather road since the roads were blocked. Many people flashed out their cameras and took pictures in middle of the road. So strange there were was suddenly a grp of soldiers marching out from the staircase of esplanade circle MRT. We just walked behind them and my mum flashed out her camera.

We finally arrived at the exhibit. My sis was angry as she came from school and waited for like 45 mins. It wasan amazing garden exhibit with so many interior or exterior garden designs by worldwide designers. It is like walking into a fantasy world with leaves and fairytale architectures. It was worth it!
I didnt really take much pictures as my HP camera colour has some problem.

Now, I finally came back. It was much better than the horror we had seen before, winding through roads hoping to reach the city. I also got to know how NICOLL HIGHWAY was so important!!! NDP rehearsal today, oh, I think it was preview as I saw P5 students wearing white and red at suntec.

GOLD WITH HONOURS

I am really really happy. I screamed my lungs out when I heard the results

It is really amazing how the persis nearly teared me but now brought to a bigger success. How ironic. I hate it yet we got GOLD for it.

On Saturday was the band competition. Everyone was really nervous and I got many letters of encouragement from my band members. We practiced a little and was time to go to the Singapore Conference Hall for our competition at 12.

In the bus, I heard that our results were on NTRIX. I was stumped and could not wait to know of my results. Chloe had a phone and wanted to check hers but everyone decided not to check for the risk of affecting our emotions for the competition ahead. We cheered CSB and arrived.

We arrived and waited quite fast the although it seemed long. I started to relieve my memories about the SYF rehearsal I had last year and we started humming MERRY WIDOW. But we were brought back to reality, so we told ourselves we must hum PERSIS instead. Ya, we did.
We saw many other bands there too. HC, ST N, TKG just to name a few.
We were performing for the 2nd division.

Then, I realised that MR O was the chairman of this NBC!

We went to the test room for warming up. Then it was time.

We walked onto the stage with a few hundreds eyes from other schools staring at us + the judges. The stand in front of us was tall and huge and we hard to share stand too. I must stretch my head like a giraffe a little to see her.

When triple S raised her hand, I was too stumped and did not start very well. I sounded like super airy and Alicia and I had to try alternatively play our parts perfectly. It was difficult as my lips was getting strained after every note I played.

During persis, it started off quite well. At the bar 98 which have a lot of high notes, I could not really reach it. Alicia helped me but I thought she was angry with me for not being able to reach it. I really did force like crazy.

It ended quite well but the whole song was rather rushing. Everyone, was upset and disappointed, thinking that it confirm would be silver again. It was not our best as the mistakes were avoidable. Our mood were so down.

We sat at the audience there and waited for the results. I heard from Si min that her friend from St. N said that it was nice. There was a slight hope of getting GOLD.

This is one stepping stone for cedar Looks like either persis or double eagle saved us all!

We were at all SMILES.

Everyone remembered Si min saying that of we get GOLD we will go JAck place and eat. If we get GOLD WITH HONOURS, alicia would treat us.

Alicia was so shocked as we didnt expect to get GOLD WITH HONOURS.It was just a mere comment. HAHAs anyway, it was so expensive, and alicia would have not enough money to treat 9 of us.

It was a relieving moment for all of us. We did as well in 2nd division! Last and previous year was in 3rd division. WOOHOO.

Our senior said that our double eagle was the best. IS it true, with the mistakes I have caused? Maybe it was covered up by the others.

Although, it was not our best, but it sure motivates us to reach for bigger success. What if we did our best? Lets reserve it for the next SYF.

There will still be band practice on Mon. No break.

The atmosphere is so tense now and I dont know what is seriously going on with us. I understand that everything is done just for our sake but I dont understand what's wrong with us. Things got worse when everyone spilled out during that discussion. We just wanted to understand why but it got even tenser. What will happen next year during another major competition. I cant wait for time to fly but I also must practice hard to live up to 3s expectations.

This is random but I just have electric current passing through me. My mum touched my ear and felt a vibration and current through her hand.i felt a buzz sound too. How scary.

The last week of the June hols which is the last enjoyment of the June Hols in sec life. Next Year, it is gonna be 0 levels.
I have watching yizhimei last week since the trip to Malaysia, wow it is so cool. ZX have been coaxing me to watch it ever since early last year. the show is super nice. About a thief stealing things from rich and giving them to the poor as an undercover to find out who murdered the father. It was actually the KING!
The music and plot are super exciting. last show of the June hols.

Anyways, I didnt know 0. level is coming 3 weeks from now until recently. How scary! I did badly in school oral and now I must improve and score better for the next time. More practice!

The gene explorer is tearing my heads off. I havent even complete my hw yet but I still got extra out-of-syllabus, chimo assignment and test for this course.
Furthermore, band clashes.

I have a super nice blogskin coming soon but I always hate to change any blogskins, because it is so troublesome as i have to use a windows to do so.

Surprisingly, Yu Lan and I got top 50 in mass run!

I am so glad that band finally stopped before the mid-years.
This whole week have been a tiring one for me as there is not much time to study with band practice 3 times a week and overloading hw.
There are so many practice papers this week!

Today is also the head-prefect elections and I am so glad that 2 candidate for head-prefect is in my class! All the best to them.

Today, something funny in class happened.
I was supposed to collect the biology worksheet as usual after school
I shouted in front of the class " 3C hand in your bio wks!!!"
Yu pei came to the front and shouted " and your physics wks!!"
Jin Jian rushed in front," and your chemistry wks!!!"
HAHa all the science raps chased after the class for their wks at once.

HAving tutition later. See where got enough time to study. I just finish my piano lesson just now.

Today was the cross-country.
The 3.6km surprisingly ended fast though.
Yu Lan and I ran for the whole round (inner circle) without stopping with minimal hope to get top 50.
It ended up that we managed to complete the race, overtaking many people but it was still impossible.NVM.
Yu Lan you can still make it in sec 4, I already gotten mine last year. jiayous.=)
I was telling Yu Lan that we will drink 100 plus instead of cold milo before the race for this year.
And Lo and Behold, a 100 plus truck appeared near the track. Yu Lan was kind of angry with me coz of my ' wu ya zui', she prefers cold milo to 100 plus. (100 plus was super diluted)
Before the race we were wondering that how if both of us ended with the 50th place, place our itags together?
We were also wondering where our whole class went to and we decided to form our own class of 2 people called YZ class. Yu Lan and Zealicia. How cool isthat.
On the way, I met Alicia she said that if she runs faster than me, proves that tall people run faster than short people. I glared at her. Eventually, I still overtook her!! Short ppl have smaller surface area, run faster. =)
At the last part, I didnt mean to sprint that fast to overtake her (J), it was just sudden upsurge of energy to complete the race. I wondered how she felt- sad that I overtook her? Action?
ANyways, our class won FIRST!! so happy, there were so many fast runners in our class! EVEn qiuran got in to top 10. PRO
Oh, Kim, I waved to you during the run, you didnt see me! Florence said HI to me.

This cross-country was truly more fun than last year. Last year was gruelling being in the competitive run. I ran until I nearly faintedand whole body aching after that. Luckily this year, it was not that bad!

AFter cross-country, ZX , Des and I went to century square to eat! Then went back.

After the night tuition I had to take a bus all the way back from Thomson. My tuition classmate also boarded the bus and kind of pretended not to see me. I tried to stare but was like reading a book and listening to MP3. Right, maybe that will be awkward. It was way too obvious to see me from that angle. Fine, anyways, I didnt know lives quite far.

trumpet. Have to master a 'B' note. Alicia, we both have to master!! Band going to Genting Highlands for competition but timing clashes with Australia trip. There will also 2 band practice everyweek from 9am to 4pm during the June Holidays to prepare for NBC. Haiz..

Some are just that not to be respected. They are suppose to set good examples and portray their true self. They should not have 2-sided faces, act nice to someone, smile and put on a mask to let outsiders think they are really that kind-hearted. However, beneath the mask lies a face of lies and hatred and when a real problem comes, they will act in front of outsiders to make matters seem calm while the victims behind the screen get hurt and forgotten. They are always thinking that they are always the middlemen between the 2 generations, listening to the outsiders and totally ordering the poor ones to suffer in a relentless fate of torture. They appear to be nice to those with higher authority and once the problem comes from the outsiders, they will just sit back and do nothing. When the problem becomes bigger, they will try to negotiate the problem with the victims but with unrealistic results and they eventually will lose the battle at the end. The main problem is not really the outsiders, it is the 2 sided middlemen.

Just like politics, some things are just that vague and forgotten, lots of acting have to take place to settle both parties.

Some may think that small things does not matter to us but it does. Just a little comment can knock to whole world down but it depends on the individual and the situation itself. It can change the whole world out of it. When we ask the middlemen to give a reason, they just stand there helplessly and find excuses to cover up when something goes wrong. They dont dare to ask the outsiders what's the problem but instead they just put on a mask in front of them. "let matters, let it be" thats what they say. but I really pity them as they have to worry about how to keep all parties cool at both sides. I hope I dont take the role of the middlemen in future. However, in life everyone carries a mask, it just depends when you want to put on or down at the right or wrong time.

A new start for a new term

Last term have been quite slack for me.OAC and NO MORE TV. Resist against the forces of evil. It is time to buck up.
I just had a shorter haircut. I think the lady cut it too short for me, I look like a mushroom head now. A new hairdo for a new term. Hope it grows fast.

Anyways, it had been quite a month since I last blogged. Term 2 is starting and I gonna study like crazy cause it is mid-year! Kind of dreading and looking forward to it. I am going to start a new study technique right now. Hope it works because I just learnt it from a professor on TV. Oral is coming this week and I just realized it! Hope that the chionging still works.

Band is getting more frightening for me. I justgot promoted to 1st trumpet and it was super scary. SOLOOOOO AMerican Graffiti. There were may high notes that I could not play like 'b'. Recently from my tuition, I met a guy who also play trumpet from maris. He said that he could play up to high 'd' and he is in 1st trumpet. I really wonder if guys have bigger lungs and stronger diaphragms than girls. However, I hope that it will boost me to greater heights!

TD project. Magnetizing of crickets, coloured environment of crickets. Recently during the start of holidays, pf suddenly want us to start the experiment, i was at home sleeping when zx called me. We were shocked as kim was not there and she expect us to transfer the all crickets for both experiments. what I thought was that was crazy as zx will definitely not do it and i had no choice. So we started out.

Things really changes

I just realised that it is time to start working now. Hope that it isnt too late. Things really changes fast and real fast. 1 month has just passed in a flash and I promised myself that this is the end of it. It is time to start thinking about that now. Taking initiative and having self-motivation are the 2 most important drive to achieve our own goals. No time to waste as others are catching and running higher than you higher up. No time for repeated mistakes or errors. Frequent self-reminders cannot just keep you going and too much drive can cause your mind to go stressed and crazy. No other distractions can affect your decision. Mistakes can either pull you down or up. It is only just the matter of how you take things seriously. I better start working on that now. All the best.

New year is coming... However, it will not be that exciting. Sorry for this emo post.

It has been a long long time.

It is already the 4th week of school!!!!!! I got to know many of my classmates through class interactions like PE, class discussions. 3C-Caramba-A theme of spanish and gypsy traditional stuffs. We are decorating our classroom now! Someone thought of buying cactus and placing it under the teacher's table! LOL Pricked them out.

The lecture style was both quite cool and not so cool at the same time
1. We sat on the comfy and luxurious red seats at the auditorium while listening to lectures
2.It was bad because some was hard to understand and we could not ask questions

Common tests are coming right up! I just completed a english TA about compo today. Fortunately, the topics kind of leaked out from other classes. Jogging periods have extended to about 1.2km 2 times per week! More 'haemoglobin' and 'white blood cells' in our shoes. Excercising 3 times per week +PE how fit can we get? Luckily, or weirdly that i am not in the wellness club. If not I have to see MC for a really long time as many last year avoided him. which included me and ZX.BTW she is not in that club.

My classmates were way too enthusiastic! They raised their hands and answered questions.WOW how studious were they! 'TD ma' 'smart' that's what others say. In fact, actually we are not that extraordinary-getting to TD is mainly from my sec 1 results. Maths to sci TD. Speaking about the TD project, we decided to stop it for a moment as we kind of failed the experiment again. how much money have wasted on buying and letting off these crickets? + the common tests and stuffs, how do we find the time?

Being a bio rap was such a headache. The whole day, I was shouting and collecting wks from my classmates, checking if the teacher was coming, go sci lab and others. It was the only PF. (only Zx , kim and Des) would know this. Luckily the she is not as bad as she sounds.We just have some internal grudges against her.

I got more friends and many envied my name-ZZZZZEEAA...

During band, we had this angel and mortal system. Unfortunately, I still havent received any letter from my angel yet. Siyu too. One of our juniors said that her mortal comes from our section and she is not going to write at all. I think it is either one of us. Band is more stricter now as we have drills, longer practices and more. until 6+. We also had to prepare for our concert and the conductors wanted to test each and every one of us in order to prepare for the concert.

BTW the concert is in April. We are going to play many songs-PERSIS confirm in! My friend said that I was mad having the persis song as my alarm clock! However, I think it is the most effective one I ever had, it will really jolt you out of your sleep. Simply a nightmare!!

Now in trumpet section, there is a common saying of this word-'dry' it refers to cold jokes that nobody laughs but everyone laughs when you say this word. Hanis likes cracking 'dry' jokes. 'so dry..'

Goals for sec 3 (school-based)
1. Get good results
2. Manage band well
3. dont get sad easily and worst- cry!
4. Get to know more people by crapping
5. Participate more actively in class like (being a bio rap)
6. Have fun in OAC
7. Dont get addicted to taiwan or korean shows (the recent one (haipaitianxin))
8. Manage time effectively
9. Not to be forgetful and do extra work
10. Get fit and healthy through the jogging and pe sessions! Gain muscles to increase my weight.

New Year

The New year has come at last
With new school, class and friends apart
A new beginning is what they say

Teachers stunt students at the first day of school
saying that we are accelerated and so and so
Perhaps Good results are hard to come by
Never ending tension is the only drive

New school compound, new classrooms
new table and new chairs
Everything neat and still
and appearing classy and cool
Fearing of failing high-expectations
grips in the hearts of every cedarian

However, thats all we may say
but sec 3 life is an exciting year
with more homework, common tests, Big exams
with OAC and NAFA coming right up

Preparation for 0 levels, chinese
teachers wants everyone to get an A1
Wow, what an obstacle to us

Hello! I shall have a short post.

Things have been very busy for me for the past few days.Check this out.

Monday- Did CIP at chengsan library
Tuesday-ate pepper lunch at Hougang mall and went swimming with my sis downstairs
Wednesday-Went to chloe's house to prepare sec 4 farewell in the morning then rush to Joanna house to make cookies and christmas cards. We also played Captain Ball!
Thursday-Went to chloe's house in the morning then rush to Deseree house for party and at night went to Aunty Wong's house for dinner. (Ate turkey and Durian and chocolate log cake! so traditional=))
Friday- Went for Christmas Church service until 12 noon then went Orchard 313 Marshe and shopped till 9pm ( super crowded)
Saturday-Went for my cousin wedding tea ceremony in the afternoon and wedding dinner at night until 11pm.
Sunday-FREE!!!

What an eventful week!
This year 2009 is ending! FYI, I got another cousin wedding to attend next week.
In total I got 3 more wedding ceremonies to attend next year-cousin, church friend, cousin

I am so worried about next year subjects especially sciences.All the best to me! This science holiday homework was quite 'CHIM' to me. Let's welcome 2010!

I feel like changing my blogskin but I have so many nice ones to choose from!

I just came back from malaysia this week! The church camp was fun and I learnt a lot from it. I am always looking forward to it as not only do I have more spiritual time in church but will also get to know more about a friend! Alright, she was also my schoolmate from cedar. We stayed at the same bungalow with some other girls, Jane, Jerelyn, Audrey. The shockest thing was that we talked and played cards until about 12 plus every night! During the last night, we had an overnight prayer and I was terribly sleepy. Everyone had to pray and gave testimony in front of all the youths! I was worried and nervous about it though but I guessed everyone was quite sleepy and didnt here what exactly I said. After everything ended about around 12.30am, those living in bungalows had to take a long walk back. We saw so many stars in the sky. NICE!

During the whole camp, my sis and I also played table-tennis, badminton. I even went horse-riding (got people leading one) one round across the field because it was meant to clear tickets. The tail was scary and it swept across me.I felt so dirty. The YF activities were also enriching and my sis was one of the games organisers. There were, scavenger hunt, 3-legged race,Tower of Babel, hymns and lyrics games, acting a part of the bible for us to know more about God. It was fun and my team won 3rd price, with the most points won for the acting part. Although most of my team members were in the chinese congregation, it was quite an accomplishment. I did not know a lot about them and little did we realise about winning as we did not know a lot about the hymns and bible in English. We thought maybe we were getting the consolation prize or nothing. HAHAs.

I liked the part when we stayed up late at night to chat and another was to share my testimony. Through that, I have formed a closer relationship with God and my friends! I am so glad that I went for this camp.

School is opening. Want a countdown? Oh, no count downs for me. I am kind of looking forward to school, with new compound, new classmates and perhaps a new me. However, in contrast, this sec 3 year will be a tough one for me, more scoldings, more homework, more challenges. I really hope that things will be fine next year. Left 1 HW.

BTW, I just got a new haircut, like short. It is also not really short btw but my sis at first said that I looked like kim. However, it is not like any of my 3 good friends have never seen it before. Sec 1 remember? My fringe is up which is different from kim's. This is maybe a new hair style for next year, not sure whether to keep long again. My mum say short suits me better as it wont make me look so skinny and untidy. Perhaps so.

Thats all! Oh, I tried to book CIP slots but it was too full.I was so busy during the holidays that I did not have time to check the slots. oh! I am really looking forward to Christmas! merry christmas! I love presents!
